Syndicated from Tattered Angels blog…
You can probably tell by now that all of us on the Tattered Angels team were pretty excited about the partnership between Prima and Tattered Angels and being able to play with some of the best from both companies. I thought back to the first time I ever tried glimmer mist and I’m pretty sure it was using Yellow Daisy (still one of my favorite glimmer mist colors) on a Prima flower.
Here are my projects for this month:
Necklaces with big chunky embellishments are definitely a fashion trend for fall. I decided to make one of my own.
I cut flowers from the Prima mistable sheet and stacked them to make the main flower. I made a custom mixed mist using Cadillac Pink, Sugar Plum Fairy and a little Pearl, once the mist was dry I coated with Chandelier Glimmer Glam. For the smaller flowers I used Apple and Gumdrop. The flowers are sewn together with a button and then I put a pin back on the main flower so I can move it from the necklace to a hat or a scarf.
Up next a fun fall layout using a Prima mistable sheet, flowers and crystals.
I know I have broken a cardinal rule by not journaling or even putting a title on this page, but I just love the color on the canvas, I didn’t want to cover any of it up. The background is sprayed with Sugar Maple, Peach Delight, and Gold Glimmer Mist along with a little Apricot chalkboard to add some depth.
I often think girly when I think of Prima – I don’t know why – because clearly, as the other Angels have shared you can take the products in any direction. With that thought in mind I decided to go super girly(at least for me) with my last project.
Sorry about the blur, this is one of those projects that came together at the worst time to photograph. I cut the leaves from the mistable sheet, I l put them down on this Pink Paislee and then misted them with Cadillac Pink. Don’t you love it when you can multi-task. I coated them with a little Pink Lipstick Glimmer Glam and then assembled into a flower shape.
